Richard Rodgers June 28, 1902-Dec. 30, 1979 Columbia University & the Julliard School Collaborated with Lorenz Hart at the age of 16 on tunes such as “I’ll Take Manhattan,” “My Funny Valentine,” and “Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered.” Rodgers & Hart wrote music and lyrics for 26 musicals.

R&H Trivia Numerous awards including Pulitzer Prize, Tonys, Grammys, Oscars, Emmys Shirley Jones (Carousel, Oklahoma) was the first and only actor to be under contract to R&H RR’s daughter and grandsons are composers. OH’s was a pre-law major at Columbia.
