  Aung San Suu Kyi was born on 19 June 1945 in Yango.  Her father made some changes in Burmese army.  She grew up with her mother and two brothers  In high school she was noted as having a talent for learning languages. Her Childhood

  She appointed Burmese ambassador to India and Nepal.  Aung San Suu Kyi was degree in politics  After graduating she lived in New York City  Was married Michael Aris  Has tow sons Kim and Alexander  She was forced to go to Burma because they denied her visa Professional life

  She entered politics to work for democratisation.  Aung San Suu Kyi most famous speeches was “Freedom from fear”  The speech began : "It is not power that corrupts, but fear. Fear of losing power corrupts those who wield it and fear of the scourge of power corrupts those who are subject to it." Political Beginnings

  She won 59% of votes in general election.  Aung San Suu Kyi was placed under house arrest.  During the arrest time she won the Noble Peace Prize and Sakharov Prize for Freedom  Used Nobel Peace Prize’s 1.3 million USD prize money to help schools and hospitals in Burmese Political career
