As a Child George Washington Carver was born on July 12,1864 in Diamond Grove, Missouri. He was a sickly child and would remain sick most of his childhood. And eventually settled in Minneapolis, Kansas in Then, He enrolled at Simpson College to study piano, and art,He was their first black student.
