Arabic Translation of 2008 SNA Availability of UN recommendations, handbooks etc. in six official languages: important pre-requisite for harmonization, comparability and knowledge-sharing Lack of Arabic documentation in economic statistics stands as important impediment to effective implementation of international recommendations and standards

Arabic Translation of 2008 SNA Acknowledgement of Kuwait’s initiative (WG of the ESCWA SC in February 2010) for translation of 2008 SNA into Arabic Points for discussion and/or decision -Do we need a TF or Committee for review? -Composition of TF or Committee? -At what stage of the translation process? -Setting deadline for the process (draft, review, final version)
