 In the town  The streets of the towns were crowded and very filthy smelly because rubbish and poo was left all over the place.  In the country Full of big open fields A few stones wall but no hedges.  Patches of trees and shrubs called shaws.  Ninety percent of the people lived by farming.

 Poor Tudor houses  Hole in wall for windows  Straw beds for mattress.  One room where the whole family lived in.  Rich houses....  they had wooden frames and spaces were filled with small stick and wet clay called wattle and daub.  And they had glass on the window
