The Real World Being a Godly Father is the most important role you have today. It will influence the world going forward for generations. You may not have had the best childhood.. In fact, it may have been horrible.. But now you have a chance to build a new generation for God! How exciting and at the same time daunting a task. In this lesson we will look at ways that you can take an active role in their lives. This will not be easy. It will cost you in time and may even effect your ability to be involved at work and all the extra things that dads like to do. Your kids are watching you learning from up and this is the time when you need to consider whether you will help them up or bring them down. No one every said it was going to be easy to be a DAD!

The Real Word Deuteronomy 6: 6 & 7 “ These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children.”

Real Steps So here are the absolutes that a DAD must do in order to lead his Children: Be Active in Their Lives – Do not miss their activities. Be Consistent in Character – Be a man of your word. Be a Leader of the family – Take the first and right step. Be Consistent in Discipline – Colossians 3:21 - Pray Daily for their Salvation and Protection – Job 1: 4 & 5

Time to Close How To Bring UP a Child Make home a place they want to be. Give them chores and responsibility. Never punish in anger. Talk about things they are interested in. Invite their friends to your house. Teach them making Character is more important than money. Live Christ at all times in all places. Pray for their salvation and spiritual growth.
