How faculty can make their teaching more sustainable?

Faculty can bring their students along for the “sustainability” ride.

Upload Syllabus and other documents to Pilot to save the trees. If you Must make a paper copy, be sure it is double-sided with small margins.... and let your students know why

Once a semester have an online BB-Collaborate class to save the gas.... and let your students know why

Be sure there is a recycle bin close to your office and classroom. Model recycling and strongly encourage students to recycle!... and let your students know why

Turn down the temperature of your office and classroom. Adjust window blinds to keep sunlight/heat out or in as needed.... and let your students know why

There are many things that faculty can do to help become more sustainable and let your students know why
