Toddler News From: Mrs. Meagan D D ecember is hear and “baby it’s cold outside!” This month we will be learning about the weather and seasons, that include: rain, sunshine, snow, wind, and other elements that goes with it. We will also do a unit on Christmas. This will be fun, considering it will involve, drinking cocoa with peppermint sticks, having a pajama day while watching the Polar Express, and baking and decorating sugar cookies! Happy Holidays!! December 2015 Chocolate No Bake Cookies Recipe Chocolate No Bake Cookies Recipe Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)2 cups sugar 1/4 cup cocoa1/2 cup milk 3 cups oatmeal1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 cup peanut butter Directions: 1. Stir the butter, sugar, cocoa, and milk together in a saucepan, and cook on medium heat until it boils. Boil at a LOW boil for about 3 minutes. 2. Remove from heat and add the oats, peanut butter, and vanilla. Stir until thoroughly mixed. 3. Drop by spoonful onto waxed paper, and allow the cookies to cool and harden slightly, which takes about 20 minutes. W W e are still offering the computer parenting classes. We want to remind you that families to complete all 10 lessons gets a $50 Visa gift card! We have a few families that has already started.
