DOES MY CHILD HAVE AN A? EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE AN A!

Why should everyone have an A? Students are given the exact questions and answers to quizzes so they know what to study. Mrs. Mar teaches for mastery of skills which means that students are allowed to redo failed assessments.

Grading Policy Homework is due the next day. If you are absent, call a friend. Late class work or homework drops letter per day. Only completed classwork/homework will receive credit. Incomplete is a zero. An x is not counted. Work with no name must be claimed at the end of class to receive credit. Failed quizzes may be retaken after tutoring with a student mentor or the teacher.

Success Following directions leads to success! Learning starts at the bell so be prepared. Participate at all times. Respect the other learners in the room. Commit to standard based learning. Attend tutoring when needed. Success waits for no one, so don’t get left behind!

Extra Rehearsals Extra rehearsals are for all-state, high school auditions, solo and ensemble, concerts, and field trip performances. Students meet at the security desk at 8:30am and Mrs. Mar escorts them to the choir room for tutoring. No one may come upstairs alone.
