Dee Hasler with Leilani’s Pride “Angel”

The Basics of a lifetime challenge The Foundations of Versatility begin with the beginning of the breed. Article 15 in the first Breeders Registry book, stated that the Tennessee Walking Horse is at its foundation a “using” horse and Silver and primping should never be placed over good working tack. The first TWH’s pulled carts, rode to town, and across country. The Water Glass Class, a favorite of mine started with Founder Albert Dement to show the smooth, controlled ride of the Walker.

TRAIL OBSTACLE SAME HORSE, DIFFERENT RIDER

WATER GLASS I BELIEVE ALBERT DEMENT WOULD BE PROUD

Pleasure & Obstacle Driving The forgotten event. Simply by necessity Tennessee Walking Horses drove well and competed in the first shows in driving and riding classes. Equipment and training requirements make this a more challenging class.
