HAPPY PANDA NOODLES OODLES OF NOODLES

JOBS Sarah Ross: Financial Director Rachel Kemp Whimp: Sales Director Matilde Washington-Emerson: Production Director Tilly Schwarz: Managing director All of us are marketing director OODLES OF NOODLES

HAPPY PANDA NOODLES TARGET GROUP Happy panda noodles are aimed at year nine and above including teachers. OODLES OF NOODLES

HAPPY PANDA NOODLES PRODUCT Happy Panda noodles will be a stir fry type of noodles. They will be sold in Chinese takeaway boxes (see below) The box will have ribbon or logo sticker on it, this will make the packaging more recognisable They will be aimed at year 9 and above. For 50 Chinese take away boxes from Moore Wilsons costs $6.85 OODLES OF NOODLES

HAPPY PANDA NOODLES PRICE Happy Panda Noodles are priced at $4 because most people in target group (year 9 and above)have $10-$15 and want to buy three products Also if you join our Facebook page and then invite a friend, you get $0.50 off your first Happy Panda Noodles OODLES OF NOODLES

HAPPY PANDA NOODLES PLACE They will be sold at Market Day We will try to get a spot in the middle of the place as less people visit the corners Also we will have one line for the meat option and one line for the vegetables We will have two people working per line, one on money and one on making the noodles OODLES OF NOODLES

HAPPY PANDA NOODLES PROMOTION There will be a person in a panda suite on the day walking around and advertising our product We will give out testers the week before to students. They will taste how good the noodles are and then tell their friends. This will guarantee us some customers for marketing day. There will be posters around the school and maybe a message in the notices, or an sent out to students. The posters will include the price and logo. We will create a Facebook page that if you join and invite a friend you get $0.50 off your first happy panda noodles. OODLES OF NOODLES

STRENGTHS Noodles and boxes can be brought in bulk from Moore Wilsons (boxes pack of 50 for $6.85) There are only three ingredients needed Noodles, Sauce, Vegetables or Meat Noodles are reasonably easy to make Noodles can be prepared the day or week-end before to minimize the amount needed to do on market day OODLES OF NOODLES

WEAKNESSES Hard to keep heated. To fix this we will heat in slow cookers and crock pots in kitchen next to hall. We will heat them in the morning and leave the noodles in till lunch. Then use chilli bins to keep noodles warm when selling them. Not everybody will want meat in their noodles. To solve this we will have a meat line and a non-meat line. If we prepare it a week-end before noodles may not be completely up to standard. To solve this we will most likely make them on a weekday or keep noodle mix in a fridge/freezer to stop from going off. OODLES OF NOODLES

OPPORTUNITIES If it is a cold day people are more likely to buy noodles as they are warm If people don’t have lunch then Happy Panda noodles can be counted as a whole meal, as they are filling and you get a lot for your money. OODLES OF NOODLES

THREATS If the weather is hot, then it is less likely people will want to buy noodles and more likely to want to buy something like a cold drink. There is no way we can reduce this threat. If people would prefer snacks instead of a meal, for example if they bring their lunch. There is no way we can solve this problem. Many other groups are using hot food as their market day product, this will cause a lot of competition. So to solve this threat we need to advertise our product more so we will have guaranteed customers and do more market research seeing if our product will be popular. OODLES OF NOODLES

RESEARCH Assuming we would have around 150 customers, maybe less or more. The cost for boxes would be $20.55 The estimated cost of ingredients would be $50-$80 This shows we would need sponsors for monetary funds. Assuming we have 150 customers we would make $600 (if no one was part of our $0.50 Facebook campaign) if all customers were part of the campaign that would make us $525 Taking off the cost of making the noodles (Boxes: $20.55, Making noodles: $80) would make us a total of (if everybody was part of the Facebook campaign) $ There may be additional costs such as panda costume for promotion OODLES OF NOODLES

HAPPY PANDA NOODLES WILL YOU BUY OUR NOODLES AT MARKET DAY? OODLES OF NOODLES
