DIPARTIMENTO TUTELA AMBIENTALE PROTEZIONE CIVILE THE GEOLOGIST’S GROUP OF ROME Francesco La Vigna Climate Change Risk Assessment Network Workshop November 2014 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Conclusions For the first time in the City of Rome, all geologists working in the City Government offices were brought together around a table in order to pool all expertise, share projects and contribute to the urban planning activities, mapping, and managing emergencies related to geological hazards. It’s very important for the city and citizens to have a single point of contact concerning geological problems.
