Our 20 Hour Train the Trainer Program

Do you want your team to accomplish amazing things? We will help them to do just that- in a very creative way- by asking them to create art. Together. Your team will go through three stages, have four ‘rules’, experience a couple of surprises…there is one you don’t even know yet, (just to keep it fun)….and decide together when their art is done. During the process they will: Learn new ways to communicate Be surprised by one another's talents Adapt to change Go from reluctance to pure enjoyment Go from being a group of people, a bit lost and a little nervous, to being a team that is confident they can now do anything. Together. Finish with complete pride in their art. (No matter what it looks like.) This process of challenges and rewards, breaks down barriers between players, creates strong team identity and puts players in a state of “flow” where they can tap into new levels of desire to succeed. Together.

The Canvas Creek process is powerful enough to : Help teams with new leaders bond Help teams with big challenges communicate Help strong teams celebrate and stay strong Help Un-Teams become teams and collaborate It is barrier free, multi-generational friendly, fun and effective It is flexible enough to: Reinforce your learning objectives Be a party Help you create powerful missions Be a driver for strategic planning conversations Be a catalyst for change (oh boy do we love facilitating this one!)

Sample Timeline* 8:30- Everyone gathers in the ‘studio’, puts on smocks, chooses their paints and is assigned to a team of 4-5 people** 9:00- Painting begins 10:30- Debriefing begins- focused on business goals 11:00- Group photos 11:15- Teams move into next activity (we have suggestions and can facilitate) or lunch For our most effective events we have teams come back together after a break and private conversation or the rest of the meeting agenda. At this point they capture the ‘theme’ of the event on their canvas, committing support to each other. *Events can be longer or shorter- we will discuss your requirements **The less people know about what they will be doing the better, and yes, there will be some reluctance, it is team building after all. Trust us, we know how to get them involved. We also assign teams at random. Facility Note: Large rooms, ballrooms, outdoor space, warehouses etc. We will need tables, access to water (bathroom is fine) We mask off everything and have painted in brand new hotels, historic properties, living rooms and garages, never leaving a stain.

Employee Reward- 24 ppl Objective 1- To celebrate success and company longevity while driving the ideas of teamwork and adaptability to change. Mode- Team members will be invited to the conference room for an activity and celebration. We will have a ‘soft start’ for 30 minutes until phones go off for the day. Teams if 33-4 people will be assigned at random. Debriefing will include conversation about collaboration, change and the success this group demonstrates. Believe- Unique to Canvas Creek is the tangible result of our team building process. Art hung around the building will become a conversation piece and pride in the accomplishment will be evident. Participants usually show their work to clients and often bring friends and family to see it. There is significant investment in their painting team and the art they create. We call this stage believe; it’s an ongoing result of a couple of hours spent together. Pricing- As described- Canvas Creek will provide all team building materials, room covers, clean up and two coaches. $1680 Thank you for considering Canvas Creek. We look forward to working with your team.
