Fire Extinguishers required as in Fed Regulations Visual Distress Signals required as in Fed Regulations All boats must carry efficient sound producing devices. Boats 39.4 feet to 65.6 feet must carry whistle and bell.

In addition, the operator of a vessel involved in a boating accident must call the SCDNR immediately at
