Creating Place: Crowdfunding for an enhanced Bumpout in Downtown Traverse City

The Bumpout Today  Located on Front Street in Downtown Traverse City. Today, the bumpout primarily serves as a crosswalk “safe haven” for pedestrians seeking to cross Front Street.  The bumpout today has limited seating, houses trash receptacles, and is underutilized as a public asset downtown

The Bumpout’s Future  Building on the momentum of the other enhanced bumpout downtown, an improved bumpout here will increase community place-setting with improved aesthetics, seating, and design elements.
