Grand Canyon It is situated in Arizona, USA Shaped by the Colorado River over thousands of years as its waters covered the bed. About 2 billion years of geological history of Earth were exposed by the river, as it and its tributaries cut through layer after layer of sediment. The Grand Canyon was first seen by a European in 1540, the Spaniard Garcia Lopez de Cardenas.

Arizona It is one of 50 states of the United States of America, located in the southwest. Much of the state is sparsely inhabited. These regions are very hot in summer and mild in winter. The nickname is The Arizona Grand Canyon State. The Upstate is home to one of the most popular natural tourist attractions in the United States and the world, the Grand Canyon.
