Connecting the Smart Board

 Created in 1991, A Smart Board is an interactive whiteboard that provides a student-centered learning environment. Go!

 Smart Pen Tray Includes:  4 Color coded stylus (red, blue, green, and black)  2 Programmable buttons (Top: Smart Keyboard and Bottom: White board contact (is the right click button))  1 Eraser Go!

 Due to copyright infringement, attached is a website that explains the set up process in more details.  om/kbdoc/ om/kbdoc/ Go!

 Make sure a “green light” is visible. Go!

 A “red light” is a problem. Board is not connected or is a port problem. Go!

 “White light” means no power to board. Go!

 Press the reset button on the control panel. Go!

 Double Click the “Smart Board Tools” icon Go!

 Double Click the “Smart Board Tools” icon Go!

 Click on “Orient”  Or Press and hold both buttons on the pen tray. Go!

 Follow the cursor by tapping the target.  Lets fingers act as mouse. Go!
