INTRODUCTION The guide describe the procedures and format which your thesis must fulfill before the final submission. All candidates for higher degrees are trained to practice the highest standards of intellectual honesty and integrity. The ideas and data of researchers that you used must be acknowledged in your thesis by citing the quoted materials and providing the full references in the reference list. This need to be done to prevent plagiarism
GENERAL REGULATIONS FOR THESIS Notice of Submission of Thesis Form 3 months before you submit the thesis to IPS –download and submit to supervisor. Submission of 10 copies of Thesis Form ( 4 copies to IPS and 6 to IPPT), Examination Fees Receipt and Declaration Form. IPS will submit the Thesis to Examiners. Completion of Report by Examiners. ( 1 month MSc and 2 months PhD). Viva will be scheduled by IPPT.
GENERAL REGULATIONS FOR THESIS After viva-student does the corrections as recommended by Thesis Examination Panel. Submit the corrected thesis to supervisor and/or examiners for approval. The Dean/Director approves the corrections. Thesis Submission Form, Final 3 copies hard bound (red hard bound for MSc and black hard bound for PhD with gold lettering) and a PDF format of thesis in CD.
WRITING STYLE You are required to use the adopted style consistently throughout your thesis. There are various styles “Harvard, APA, Chicago, Columbia, Legal, Internet Citations”
