Uniforms and “Bearing” Any uniform or uniform accessory shall not “cause distraction from military bearing” or bring discredit to the United States Coast Guard or the United States of America “BUT WE’RE NOT IN THE MILITARY…” Even the back of our ID’s say “NON-MILITARY ID”

Operational Dress Uniform Require sew-on Name Tape and sew-on “USCG Auxiliary” Tape May use sew-on or standard metal (pin-on) collar devices ODU Long Trousers may be cut off for shorts ODU Top sleeves may be rolled up or not ODU Top may be removed for extreme heat conditions (revealing blue T-shirt)
