Homework & Agendas Homework folders will come home every Monday with their yellow folders. Inside you will find their spelling list and homework assignments for the week. All homework will be due on Friday. Homework will start counting as a compellation grade. Agendas will come home every night. Inside your child will write any special announcements, homework reminders, and color in their color that they landed on that day. Please look over and initial each day. Please send any notes, lunch money, etc. back to school in the agenda’s front pocket.
Classroom Management Money System Each child has a class job and they are paid $1 a week if they complete their job. They can also earn dollars by earning 10 tallies a table, earning CARE tickets from other teachers, staying purple, etc. They will be able to cash out their classroom dollars on days we have in door recess in our mini class store. Color Clip System: Every student starts on green each day. Based on behavior they can move up to purple or down to blue, yellow, or red. Each day is a fresh start. If they land on blue or below I will write in their agenda why. Purple Green (Start on everyday). Blue Yellow Red
I will send parents several s throughout the school year. Please keep an eye out for them. If you have not provided me with your yet please do so.
Volunteering Ways to volunteer in our class and school: 1. PTA 2. Library 3. Help make copies 4. Help prepare Monday folders 5. Mystery Reader 6. Field Trips 7. Misc.
Food Please send a healthy snack each day with your child. I do try to keep snacks handy in cases for students who do not have one. Birthdays: You are welcome to send a snack that can be enjoyed during lunch. Allergies: We have multiple students with allergies. Our allergy concerns in this class are: Dairy Red Dye Tree Nut
