Introduction Why are you copying my work? We all have great ideas and thoughts… but copying someone’s words from any source is not cool!!!! For example: copying your friends exact words, or copying from a book, or copying from the web is not cool!! Now look at this site to learn about copyright laws… This is called plagiarism.
TASK Make sure you do not break the copyright laws by copying someone’s words or ideas. What is this called? How do I make sure I do not plagiarize?
Process What do I do next? You may want to hyper-link your internet information to your PowerPoint (no more plagiarism) Here is what you do: 1.Open your PowerPoint to the page with copied internet information. 2.Go to internet page you where you got your information 3.On the internet page, highlight the address page by a left click 4.Now right click on the highlighted address to copy 5.On your PowerPoint page….place your cursor in the area your want your link to show or near the copied material 6.Right click on page….then Paste link in your page. 7.We are not through yet!!!
Process 8.Highlight internet link on PowerPoint page 9.Click on “Insert Tab” across top of PowerPoint program 10.Click on “Hyperlink” icon 11.Look on left side of “Insert Hyperlink” box 12.Make sure “Place in this document” is highlighted, then 13.Find the PowerPoint slide you want to hyperlink 14.Click OK….. You are done!!!!!
