FOR EACH VIRTUE SEVEN SITUATIONS ARE PRESENTED 1.The virtue is seen in practice 2.The virtue is needed but its practice is not seen 3.Someone is thinking about practicing the virtue 4.Someone is thinking about not practiceing the virtue 5.A dilema where the virtue is at stake 6.A second dilema involving that virtue 7.The effect of not having the virtue is seen

The two formats of the game PC version for one or two players requires as minimum a pentium 3 with Windows XP and 512 Mb Ram Ubuntu version is also available Card version several games based on cards for one to six players some games combine cards and PC Both versions are available in English and Spanish Other languages are possible

For each situations the player has three chances to identify the virtue required. On the first chance he earns 8 points. On the second chance he earns 6 points. On the third chance he earns 4 points. After threel failures the right answer is shown along with the reasoning behind that answer. One or two people can play, the playing time can be selected, and the number of questions can be chosen. Levels of competence can be measured by the game. In the PC version of “Focusing on Virtues”

For each set of virtues the program incluse a sheet with quotes from the sacred writings of different spiritual traditions point to the straight path. The quotes are not necessary for the game but provide a source of guidance for a deeper understanding of the virtue if the teacher or parent wishes to use them. In the PC version of “Focusing on Virtues”

In the Card version de “Focusing on Virtues” There are games with different levels of difficulty “Scrabble for Virtudes”, 2 to 4 players “Virtues Tonk”, 2 to 6 players “Memory for Virtues”, for 1 to 4 players “Virtues or Numbers”, for 2 to 6 players

Of special interest to teachers and parents, the system includes a set of additional activities that a young person can carry out to strengthen the practice of the virtues in his personal life. Playing "Focusing on Virtues" on the computer or with the card version helps the youth to understand the concepts related to each virtue and promotes a positive attitude towards the exercise of that virtue. Carrying out the group of additional activities encourages the application of each virtue in the day to day life of the youth. ACTIVITES ADDITIONAL TO THE GAME
