Ladybird Many people do not realise that we have so many different ladybirds living in Britain: 46 species. Not all of them are brightly coloured and spotty; some are really quite dull looking and are not recognisable as ladybirds. There are 27 species from the ladybird family (scientifically called the Coccinellidae) that actually look like ladybirds and here are some fun facts about them. There are about 4,300 kids of ladybirds.

Grasshopper They are normally brown in colour, but they can vary in colour including yellowish brown, reddish brown, and light green. Some are even striped. These insects live all around the world except where it is too cold like the north and south poles. They have adapted to most every habitat including deserts, forests, and grasslands.
