Perry Beeches Secondary School – Dance Workshop. Year 4 – Teniola, Brodi, Brian, Letrell, Tahlia. Year 5 – Abigail, Lucas, Darby, Annice, Shanae. Those ten children went to Perry Beeches Academy on Wednesday 8 th July for a day of dance rehearsals were they learned a routine for uptown funk by Bruno Mars. The next day, the children went to Perry Beeches Academy and performed in their after school show – the summer extravaganza. The show had a mixture of drama, dance, singing and musical instruments from the secondary school children as well as the dance that our children performed, in front of an audience of about 200 people. Our students, performed fantastically and worked really hard to remember the routine in such a short space of time. Miss Allen (P.B Physical education teacher) said - “The performance went really well and the kids all did fab! They were excitable but well behaved and did their school proud! …. It has been a pleasure working with them”.
