Light as a wave

Light behaves as both a wave and particle. Wave–particle duality is the idea that light behaves not only like particles, but also waves. As Einstein wrote: "It seems as though we must use sometimes the one theory and sometimes the other. We are faced with a new kind of difficulty. We have two opposite pictures of reality; separately neither of them fully explains the phenomena of light, but together they do". Light behaves as both a wave and particle.

Reflection of Light Waves All waves are known to undergo reflection or the bouncing off of an obstacle. Reflection of Light Waves

Refraction of Light Waves   All waves are known to undergo refraction when they pass from one medium to another medium. Refraction of Light Waves
