C AREER SUCCESS DEMANDS : Self-motivation and determination Life long learning and improvement Working with and getting support from others Ethics and professionalism Contributing to society …… Regardless of how brilliant you are, nothing can replace your hard work

S ET YOUR GOALS A statistic survey shows only about 3% of Americans have a career plan. You should have a realistic plan: Long-term goals : What do you envision for yourself, say 10 years from now? Midterm objectives: What do you want to accomplish in the next three to five years? Short-term: To reach my goals and objectives, what should I do now? this semester? this year?

C AREER OPTIONS What do you want to do after graduation? What are the possible options? Engineer, R&D, sales, manager, entrepreneur, education, researcher, government, non-profit, etc. Follow your passion, be persistent and also be willing to make adjustments.
