5th Grade at a Glance Curriculum: Language Arts Latin and Greek Roots, Vocabulary Writing- Informational, Opinion, Narrative Spelling Informational Text Novels Math Go Math Social Studies Reflections States and Capitals Science Houghton Mifflin Science State Test *Technology is used in class throughout the day.

AR We will continue with AR this year, though the point values have increased. Projects Science Fair- 2nd Trimester State Float- 3rd Trimester

Band, PE, Library *Band is in ½ hour segments based on instrument each Monday from 8:30-11:00 *PE will be each Tuesday and Thursday from 1:45-2:30 * Library will be Thursday from 10:30-11:00
