One man was given the task to write America’s Declaration of Independence Thomas Jefferson : Virginia Continental Congress Wrote the Declaration of Independence in 17 days Signed by many others

The United States of America declared their independence on July 4 th, 1776 A war broke out between the American Colonies and England America was victorious On September 3, 1783, The United States of America had won it’s independence

We still follow the Constitution when concerning our government and our way of life. We’ve made positive and necessary changes called amendments over time that grant equality to everyone in this nation.
