Food The Lynx’s favorite food is snow shoe hare. It also eats fish, hares, rabbits, rodents, deer, birds, ground squirrels, lemming, and caribou.
Predator-Prey Relationship It’s predator is man. It is hunted for its beautiful fur. Now it’s endangered.
Size/ Looks Height: ½ foot high. Weight: 40 pounds. Description: It has black tuffs of fur on the tip of its ears.
Interesting Fact It can see a mouse 250 feet away. It can see a snow shoe hare 1000 feet away. Lynx are very good swimmers. There climbing skill has often led them to death. It is a easy target for hunters to shoot them. A bobcat is a lynx cousin.
