Project Description and Intended Use Explore new key features of Windows Server 2008 ▫Hyper-V ▫Terminal Services RemoteApp ▫Windows Firewall ▫Network Access Protection Reference material for system administrators and IT managers alike Practical learning experience for myself

Deliverables Hyper-V role was enabled on host server ▫Multiple virtual servers as members of same domain and network  DC-PG1: Domain Controller, NAP Remediation  NAP-PG1: NAP server (heath policies)  TS-PG1: Terminal Services Server for TS RemoteApp service  VISTA01 & VISTA02: Windows Vista Clients NAP Server Configuration ▫Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) configuration ▫Policy required firewall to be enabled on client TS RemoteApp Configuration ▫TS Web Access Open with Office as the software ▫Clients utilized TS RemoteApp to run Open Office remotely Windows Server 2008 Advanced firewall ▫Setup on domain controller ▫Firewall rule blocking outbound traffic
