Its done through , although you could easily get addresses and talk by handwritten letters, though free is usually better then pricey in my opinion.

The reason I chose this topic to research is because I was recently asked by a teacher at this school, who I know personally as well, if I could write to the girl who is coming from Honduras next year, so that she knew someone from the school. Then I joined the p21 group and a choice of topic was pen pals so I decided to do that since A: it seemed interesting and B: because by the end I might have a few classes writing letters either to her or to the school in Honduras.
