Research with People Ethics limit research Confidentiality for records of research participants and clients Informed consent – participants should be given an overview of research and have a choice whether or not to participate. Deception may only be used under specific conditions
Research with Animals Animals may be used only when there is no alternative or when researchers believe potential will outweigh harm
Ethics Using Data Researchers must be objective Researchers must admit the results that contradict their experiment.
