My Favorite Art Jenna Kotkevich

Information This painting is called “Viva la Vida” and was painted by Frida Kahlo. It was painted in “Viva la Vida” is known as Frida Kahlo’s last painting. The Spanish translation for viva la vida is live the life.

Why I chose this I chose “Viva la Vida” by Frida Kahlo because the bright colors catch my eye. In addition, I like the food watermelon. This painting creates a happy mood for me because of the use of colors and the meaning behind the title “Viva la Vida”.

Information This painting is entitled “Bullfight, Suerte de Varas”. It was created by Francisco Jose de Goya y Lucientes in 1824.

Why I chose this This painting causes me to feel fear, and it makes me depressed because the bull is cornered and I have no way to help it. I turn against bullfighting when I see the blood on all the animals in this painting, and it disgusts me that someone could hurt animals like that.

Information “Ascent of a Balloon in the Presence of the Court of Charles IV” is the name of this painting. It was painted by Antonio Carnicero in The current location on display for this painting is Bilbao Fine Arts Museum.

Why I chose this This painting was beautifully made with every detail. I enjoy looking at all the different people. The balloon makes me feel adventurous and ready to travel anywhere. The cloud in the school looks interesting and not like a normal cloud you would see which also makes me curious.
