BARCELONA Barcelona is a city with two million inhabitants, although it has spread around next towns getting about four millions. It`s very cosmopolitan and is the second city in Spain. It`s situated on the North- East of Spain, next to the sea.

BARCELONA Barcelona was born as a comercial site before fourth century BC. The Modernism was a movement influencing the city. The Olimpic Games were an important event for the city,as a lot of buildings were made.

BARCELONA Gaudí is the most important modern architect. He made works such as Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, Pedrera or Parque Güell, which are popular touristic sites.

BARCELONA Some important areas are Grácia, Ribera, Sants, Gotico, Montjuic or Puerto Olímpico.
