Subjunctive Mood 语气 (mood) 是用来表示谈话人的态度 和看法的动词形式。 英语有三种语气 : ①陈述语气 ( 同陈述句 ) ②祈使语气 ( 同祈使句 ) ③虚拟语气 虚拟语气不表示一个事实, 而是表示一 种假设情况 ( 愿望 ，建议 ，假设 ) 。

表示与现在事实相反的假设, 条件状语 从句用 “ 一般过去式 (be 一般用 were)”, 而主句谓语动词由 “would/should/ could/might + 动词原形 ” 构成。 虚拟语气用于条件状语从句 If I were a boy, I would join the army.
