Student Examples Cover Design Project

Example A- Design

Example A- Description “The Tunnel by C.A. Boose After three infamous back robbers hop a train with all their loot, the lives of the passengers take a turn for the worse. After getting robbed, threatened, and beaten, the passengers attempt to rise against the robbers. The tables turn once they reach the tunnel, where left is right, good is bad, and up is down. What will happen? Who will prevail? What gives the tunnel these odd properties? All will be discovered in The Tunnel.”

Example A- Rubric

Example B- Design

Example B- Description “The Howling is about a pack of wolves who has to find their way to the full moon. If they don’t make it to the full moon then they would lose their chance on teaching their young how to howl. On their way to the full moon they run into many obstacles on their way. That’s why the wolves must hurry to the moon.”

Example B- Rubric

Example C- Design

Example C- Description “The title of my album cover is called Lead Me. I chose this title because it goes along with the verse I chose. The verse says, “lead me to the cross that is higher than I.” I put the cross in the center sort of raised up because it says higher than I. I tried to make all of the focus be on the cross. That’s why I did a bright pathway leading up to the cross. I chose a pink background because it’s my favorite color. I also outlined the cross, flowers, and the sun so that they would stand out.”

Example C- Rubric

Example D- Design

Example D- Description “On my book cover, I drew a lion and chose the words brave and strong and put them in Chinese characters. The reason I put the word in Chinese character I thought they look better like that. I painted their background yellow so the drawing of the lion pop out more.”
