What Tests Will My Child Take? District 11 Testing Chart

 Individual Assessment  Given by classroom teacher or Supplemental teacher  Data used to determine instructional needs for foundational pre-reading skills Kindergarten: FAST – Early Reading

 Individual Assessment given by classroom teacher or Supplemental Teachers  Information used to determine instructional needs on foundational math skills. Kindergarten & First Grade: Concepts of Math (COM)

 Assessment given by classroom teacher or Supplemental teaching staff  Given to determine what foundational place value understanding the student needs to reach benchmark skills. Grades 2-5: Conceptual Place Value (CPV)

 Testing in Fall, Spring by classroom teacher or Supplemental program teacher  Reading  Accuracy (Decoding/Sight Words)  Comprehension  Fluency  Used to determine correct instructional level for guided reading and independent reading. Grades K-5: Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA)

 On-line assessment (new this year for all grades but Kindergarten)  Given once a year (February and March)  Determines the language instructional levels of students. Grade K-5 ESL Students: ACCESS Test
