Affidavit (n) ◦ A written statement confirmed by oath or affirmation, for use as evidence in court. ◦ The witness to the car accident had to give an affidavit of what he saw for the law suit.

Confidant (n) ◦ A person with whom one shares a secret or private matter, trusting them not to repeat it to others. ◦ The little girl told all her secrets to her stuffed teddy bear, her closest confidant.

Fiduciary (adj) ◦ Involving trust, especially with regard to the relationship between a trustee and a beneficiary. ◦ A company has a fiduciary duty to shareholders.

Fidelity (n) ◦ Faithfulness to a person, cause, or belief, demonstrated by continuing loyalty and support ◦ Robin had a strong fidelity to Batman.

Infidel (n) ◦ A person who does not believe in religion or who adheres to a religion other than one’s own. ◦ They wanted to secure the Holy Places from the infidel.
