Causes of hypertension?. Obesity. Pregnancy. Age. Drugs. Diet(increase salt in take)

Prophylaxis Lifestyle modification: Weight reduction and regular aerobic exercise are recommended as the first steps in treating mild to moderate hypertension.

Cont.. Reducing dietary sugar intake.. Reducing sodium (salt) in the diet.. Discontinuing tobacco use and alcohol consumption. Reducing stress, for example with relaxation therapy

Drug Treatment of Hypertension The treatment with antihypertensive drugs depend on the severety of the case and the general helth condtion of the patient. Combination of anti HTN drugs may be use acording to the case.
