Key Persons are KEY!! The most important thing is having a Key Person who cares about the campaign and what it stands for. PAYMENT OPTIONS Payroll deductions encouraged!! –Donors can afford to give more –Easier to give when it’s automatically taken out of paycheck –Payroll deductions start in January, when pay raises begin (Melinda Robba, DHR) One time cash / check donations also accepted

IMPERATIVES Payroll deduction must have LEGIBLE – Contributor’s name – Contributor’s SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER – Contributor’s SIGNATURE ONLY cash or check contributions from Reservists, National Guard, or Contractors
IMPERATIVES Encourage donors to designate their pledges! –More than 5 charities can be chosen, write “Continued” on pledge cards and turn in together – with ONE TOTAL –Any undesignated contributions will be shared by all organizations proportionately ONLY cash or check contributions from Reservists, National Guard, or Contractors
KEYPERSON REPORT Electronic version will be ed and printed copy is in your folder for copying Electronic fill-in ensures legible entries of names and numbers
