Types of tour guide  Tour guide refers to the personnel accredited by a travel service that will offer service for tourists. Usually they are divided into different sorts according to different classifying standards. Then based on different working functions they commonly fall into the following types. They are  1) T/L(tour leader/international guide)-the leader of an international travel group whose job is generally to coordinate with national guides throughout a tour in the destination on behalf of the organizing party;  2) National guide: a guide who works nationwide among different provinces and cities coordinating with T/L and local guide;  3) Local guide: on behalf of a local travel service agency to arrange a tour within a province or a city;  4) Guide of a specific scenic spot: to give necessary guide/explanation/interpretation of a specific spot.
