Friday Forms

Homework Homework will vary from teacher to teacher Reading Logs Math will be assigned on a regular basis. Teachers will communicate when long-term projects are assigned. Homework should average one hour per night from homeroom. Please support your child while encouraging independence.

Areas of Focus 1.Organization 2.Time Management 3.Quality of Work 4.Independence

Learning Skills 5 th graders will receive effort grades Teachers use a combination of scoring guide, effort grades, and percentages to respond to student work. Students are responsible to be ready to turn in assignments upon arrival. Study guides provided before most tests. Assignments not meeting expected quality will be returned for re-do.
