Kinesiology The Study of Body Movement

Abstract Kinesiology is the study of the human body during movement. There are many disciplines within kinesiology including anatomy, applied, energy, sports psychology and biomechanics.

Abstract Kinesiology graduates enter a variety of careers and graduate programs related to the understanding of how the body works. We will attempt to show you how the College of Health Sciences perceives this field and its method of training young professionals for this occupation.

History of Kinesiology Kinesiology is the study of movement in the body. Started in 1960’s by Dr. George Goodheart Found relationship between muscles, internal organs, and acupuncture
