Overview of Today’s Peer Mediator Training What is a Peer Mediator? Conflict Managers Requirements Application

I mportant Vocabulary Conflict – a problem or disagreement between people Conflict manager – someone who helps solve others’ conflicts Peer – people like you, Lambert students Mediation – when another person helps people solve their conflict (“middle” of the problem)

Peer Mediator Requirements Application must be complete and turned in by this Friday (late application NOT ACCEPTED) 8 classes during lunch recess (must attend ALL classes) Test Work during lunch recess once per week – NO PLAYING Monthly meetings Maintain good behavior
