 Investigate one of the major battles in which Australians fought on the Western Front during World War 1.  Create a Power Point presentation  Give an oral presentation using your Power Point.

 Investigate one of the following Battles on the Western Front in World War 1  Fromelles 1916  Third Battle of Ypres – Paschendaele 1917  Amiens – Bullecourt 1917  Villers Bretonneux 1918

 Details about the battle e.g. place, dates, map  An explanation of the battle.  How does the battle fit into the big picture of the war?  What is significant about this battle?  What is important about the outcome of the battle?  Facts and figures about the battle.  Something about the battle that impacted on the course of the war.

 Be at least 10 slides and no more than 15  Have a:  Minimum of four photographs  One Chart, map or timeline  List of references: a minimum of three web references and two book references.
