GOALS FOR EVERY CONGREGATION #4 Intro. Goal - An end that is WORKED toward. Recall Lesson #1: Being Scriptural! Lesson #2: Being Fruitful! Lesson #3: Being United! Now let us consider #4: Being Clean & Strong! BEING CLEAN & STRONG

I. WHAT IS CLEAN & STRONG? A. Clean - Purity, righteous living. 1. Christ died for this (Eph. 5:26-27)! 2. Necessary for our influence (Phil. 2:14-15). 3. Necessary for our salvation (1 John 3:1-8). GOALS FOR EVERY CONGREGATION #4 BEING CLEAN & STRONG B. Strong - Stand solid, keep word. 1. Keep word (Rev. 3:8). 2. Not tolerant of evil (Eph. 6:10-11). 3. Active (Matt. 25:14-30). C. Antonyms: 1.
