What Tobacco does to your body. 1. Tobacco is the number one cause of preventable death in the U.S. 2. Tobacco effects the heart and lungs, and can cause heart attacks, strokes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and cancer. 3. In 2004, tobacco killed about 5.4 million people. 4. Smoke from tobacco have products that can change DNA and cause mutation.

Non-smokers VS. Smokers Non-SmokerSmoker Healthy lungs makes it easy to breathe and no tar build-up. Bad lungs that make it difficult to breathe with a high amount of tar. Healthy heart with a low risk of a heart attack. Unhealthy heart with a very high risk of a heart attack. Healthy body, low risk of cancerUnhealthy body, high risk of cancer.
