I have many of the characteristics for each type. Although, according to the test I am more of a right brained person A left brained person is skilled in writing, language, and reciting. A left brained person can read, memorize, and follow directions easily. Uses rote memory A right brained person enjoys hands-on- activities, music, art, and drama. A right brained person is often creative but unorganized. Visualizes the problems and then solves.

1)Drama/English Teacher- teaches english to students or helps students learn how to read literature and act it out. 2)Novelist- writes works of fiction or non-fiction for readers. 3)Pediatrician- provide care from infant to early adulthood.

The nature of work: Working in a small privately owned office or clinic. Some time off, but an average work week.  Provide care from infants up to early adulthood  Diagnoses and treats a variety of ailments anything from a common cold to Muscular Dystrophy.  Examine the patient, obtain medical histories, order perform and analyze tests.  Counsel patients and their families

Education: 4 years of undergraduate school, 4 years of Medical School {3 years of college and Bachelor’s degree before med School}, 3-8 years of internship and residency {depending on specialty.} Training: Volunteer work at hospital or local clinic, take courses in humanities, social sciences, anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, psychology, microbiology, and pathology, learn how to administer medical tests, and analyze them. Needs: A certified state license, desire to help people, self motivated, handle pressure and long hours, a good bedside manner, and be able to make decisions.

Pediatricians are among the highest paid workers. The pay range can range anywhere from $40,000-$150,000. Working in a smaller office there are the benefits of shorter hours and coverage. The number of jobs in Pediatrics are increasing through the year 2012 and will continue to rise.

By combining my interests, personality, and learning styles I have come up with a job choice that I think I would enjoy. A pediatrician has to work with younger kids, may need to be creative, be able to be organized and have to be able to write and read well. The college I would like to attend would be the University of New England at Biddeford. I can stay somewhat local but go away at the same time. ***If I do not go into the medical field I would like to be a novelist because I enjoy writing and being creative.
