No. 12 is being sent off.” 7.D o not enter into further discussion

TASK 2 The game is developing considerable niggle and frustration. Identify options the referee can use to deal with this situation.

FORMS!!!! Fill in the appropriate forms and fill them in properly!!!

FORMS!!!! NAME THE PLAYER’S TEAM AND CLUB! NOT JUST THE CLUB!

FORMS!!!! Find out the player’s name! Get it from the teamsheet BEFORE you leave the venue. If a team or club refuses to provide the player’s name, that is an issue for the WRFU to sort out.

FORMS!!!! MATCH & RESULT: Specify BOTH teams and their respective scores.

FORMS!!!! NATURE of OFFENCE: Specify the full Law detail. LAW 10 – FOUL PLAY 10.4 DANGEROUS PLAY AND MISCONDUCT  10.4 (j) Lifting a player from the ground and dropping or driving that player into the ground whilst that player’s feet are still off the ground such that the player’s head and/or upper body come into contact with the ground is dangerous play.

FORMS!!!! PROXIMITY to the INCIDENT:   DEFINITION of proximity   The state, quality, sense, or fact of being near or next; closeness.    This question is asking “Where were YOU (the referee) in relation to the incident?” Not “Where did the incident occur?”     3 metres away

FORMS!!!! What were the circumstances in which the player was ordered off / sin binned? This is where you tell the story of WHAT HAS ACTUALLY OCCURRED. “Repeated infringements” does NOT tell anyone what has actually happened!!
