How much does the test cost? Current Lufkin High students will pay: $10.00 Math $10.00 Reading $10.00 Writing Current Lufkin High students on free or reduced lunch will pay: $5.00 Math $5.00 Reading $8.00 Writing

When is TSI Testing? The test is given at LHS multiple times throughout the school year. How do I register? Registration forms can be found in the Go Center and the Counseling Center Complete registration form and return to the Counseling Center along with your payment (cash or money order) Space is limited and seats will be filled in order of registration submission Make sure to meet registration deadline

What if I have a disability? If you receive accommodations on testing through 504 or special services, you will be provided accommodations You are responsible for registering your accommodations on your registration form See your counselor for more information

You will receive a TSI placement score If you met the passing standard, you will be able to register for college credit classes or dual credit If you did NOT meet the passing standar, your institution may use additional factors to determine placement. If you did not meet the passing standard, options and resources may include: Developmental courses and intervention plans Tutors and Instructional Aides Technology delivered developmental courses Workforce Education and Community Based Organizations Workforce Solutions and Adult Literacy Programs Contact an advisor at your institution of choice to learn about campus and community resources that will help you succeed as a college student.

You can re-take the TSI when you are ready and will be required to pay each time you test You will only re-test in the area needed
